Fall 2013 HelloMornings Dates!

This is our last week of the 2013 Summer HelloMornings challenge!

I’m praying for each of us to finish strong and for many of you to return for our fall challenge.

fall challenge registration.008

For those of you currently in a group pre-registration for the fall HelloMornings challenge begins today! Your Accountability Captain has all the details, so be sure to be in touch with her if you are looking to stay in your current group.

For any of you not currently in a group, open registration will begin August 5th and run through the 14th. We will have more details in the coming weeks about registration for the next challenge.

A fun new change we will have for this challenge is our new “specific” groups. So, if you are looking for a group for your specific stage of life (i.e., Working Mom, Homeschool Mom, etc) these will be of great encouragement for you!

As we head into this last week of the challenge, what is one thing you are going to do this week to finish strong? Share it with us in the comments.

  1. Just seeing this fall schedule gets me all excited! Our family was very busy this summer, and I am so looking forward to getting back on track and enjoying the fall challenge and new study. Yay for Hello Mornings!

  2. Novella says:

I’m going to finish my first hello mornings just as strong as I started.
It has been rewarding in many ways getting to see Jesus in his greatness giving us the perfect example of loving each other in the Meet Jesus study of the book of John.
I look forward to the fall session.
    Hello Mornings Rocks!

  3. I signed up to participate in the summer hello mornings, but was never contacted by my leader. I really want to do it this fall!

    • Oh no, Carla! I’m so sorry to hear that. If it happens again, for some odd reason, be sure to email us. It might have been a case of emails going to spam folders? Ugh.

  4. Tania Rock says:

Love the idea of grouping with “like minded” people! My group has been great but Im hoping you have a group for either those who have been disabled, or chronic pain.

You all at Hello Mornings are a blessing!

    • Tania, I don’t recall that we have a group for disabled or those in chronic pain, but I do know someone who does have chronic pain that is leading a group. She is leading a twitter group. Once registration starts, I can direct you to her page. You can fill out the Contact form so I will remember to do that. http://www.hellomornings.org/contact/

  5. What will be the topic of the fall study?

  6. I loved the summer study! Sad this is the last week! How can I get more info on how to lead one of the fall groups? Thanks for being a blessing in my life!

  7. Can I start a group on facebook for this? I miss these! Took a break this summer..actually starting in last spring cause of selling our home, moving, the summer, etc. Definitely wanna be back in these! :)

  8. Sheena Abraham says:

I’m in Canberra, ACT, Australia. I’d love to give the challenge a go. Is there a Captain in my area?

  9. Do you have a group for missionaries or missionary moms? If not, I’d be willing to lead one. I participated from last fall through the spring. I opted out for the summer because we’re doing a lot of traveling so am not currently in a group.

    • Marcie, We do have a group for missionaries!! Summer seems to be a busy time for everyone. Could you fill out the Contact form? We will be in touch about our needs for ACs. http://www.hellomornings.org/contact/

    • Hi Marcie,

I am actually leading a group for missionaries. My family and I are full time missionaries in Southern Costa Rica.

I know there will be some other ladies with us that are not missionaries but I was hoping to have some other missionaries join me. There are sometimes that I desire to be able to connect with other ladies who struggle with living cross-culturally and some of the unique things we are challenged with on a regular basis.

I would love to have you join us! You can contact me directly if you have any questions – familycarty@gmail.com Hope to hear from you!

  10. Zenya Lozano says:

    Spanish speaking group please!!!!
    :D

    • Zenya, I was going to try to reply in Spanish, but my 3 years of high school Spanish is not coming back to me right now. :p We will definitely be thinking about that for future groups, but we do not currently have a Spanish-speaking group. And I will brush up on my Spanish this year. :)

      • Zenya Lozano says:

I was thinking it could be one of the groups for the girls that speak Spanish( for this next study in autumn) although the book and everything was in English. So we could express ourselves better in the fb group.
        :)

        • Zenya, Heather Carty who left a comment above this one speaks Spanish. While her group isn’t Spanish-speaking, if you would like to join with her, I don’t think she would mind. There is also a ‘translation’ feature for Facebook if that helps.

  11. I want to do the fall session but I think I’m a leader but just in case I want to be a part of all this. I haven’t gotten any information on who is in the group and for sure if I’ll be the leader? help her. Thaks

  12. Connie H says:

This summer has been hard to stay on task a bit. Lots of things going on, and sometimes I would do my Hello Mornings challenge, but forget to check in. Without fail, the next time I checked in I would always receive something incouraging from my accountability captain. I plan to finish strong – even got up this morning and exercised. Hello Mornings has been a blessing, with encouraging blog posts and accountability. Thanks!

    • Connie, I think summer is always harder for most ladies with vacations and schedule/routine changes… But we got this last week! You can do it! We are right there with you.

  13. I was in a group for the first time this summer that wasn’t terribly active, which is understandable. If they remain inactive, should I register for a new group>

    • Hi ghshanj, Did you find a group to register for? I hope you will join us for the Fall session. I feel like every session there are ladies in my group who are quiet, but when it’s time to join again, they tell me that they were encouraged by their time. I think some use the groups for accountability, but don’t always have the time to check-in, even if they see the posts. And summer is also a strange ‘in-between’ time of no consistent schedule due to vacation and other summer activities, etc. Let us know if you need help joining one of the groups. Glad to have you in the HelloMornings community!

  14. Jenny Vollmer says:

Is it too late to sign up as an accountability captain? I am just finishing my first session with Hello Mornings.

  15. My group wasn’t overly active either but I liked the team captain and her posts were good. I definitely want to do the next session. It has been so good having accountability for my daily readings. I have gotten so much more out of John than I ever did before. Saw many things I never did before.

    • Hi Paula, I hope you will join us for the Fall session. I think some use the groups for accountability, but don’t always have the time to check-in, even if they see the posts. 16. Do groups fill up really fast? I want to join the fall challenge but I’ll be out of town with limited internet access when registration opens (until 8/10) and I don’t want to miss out. Any suggestions?

  17. I tried to join the last HelloMornings Challenge but never heard back from my AC. Is there someone who can explain the process.

    • Sharon, so sorry this happened! Registration starts August 5, and you can register for a group. Please let us know if you never hear from your AC. Don’t want you to miss out again. Hopefully this session you’ll get connected!

  18. Margi Busacca says:

I am currently in a group for the summer challenge but did not get any information from my leader about the fall challenge. In fact the whole day of that post never appeared for me. I asked my leader about this but never heard back. I’m interested in a group for women with grown children, if there is one.

    • Hi Margi, I don’t know if you have already looked around at the groups or not. We don’t have a specific group for women with grown children at this current time, but we do have a number of ACs who have grown children. Let us know if you are interested in connecting with one of those group. If you have a preference of FB or Twitter and also timezone… You can click on the Help Desk tab above to put in an inquiry for this as well. We would love to have you back again for another session! :)

  19. I am all registerd for the next session with Helen Gullett’s group. I know Helen from another site and she is actually the one that suggested Hello Mornings to many of us from that group. I am looking forward to getting started again. The accountability really help[ed me and that it was small readings everyday with all the questions really helped me to get in depth and notice things I never had before. I cannot find the download for the new material though. Can you please direct me?

    • Hi Paula, Yay! I’m so glad you will be joining us. Love Helen!! What material are you talking about? If it is the Bible study, that will be offered to registered participants prior to the start of the session. If you are looking for the Maximize Your Mornings eBook, you can find that on inspiredtoaction.com
