Joining a Group
How do I join a group?

  • Click the “Community” tab from the top menu.
  • Click on the icon or red-lettered link to the type of group you’d like to join (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Choose your Time Zone by clicking on the icon or red-lettered link.
  • Browse through the list of groups with a “Join Group” button to read through descriptions and find a group which best suits you.
  • Click on the “Join Group” button.

You’re in! Look for a confirmation email from your Group Leader in your email inbox.

How do I leave a group?

  • Click on the “My Profile” tab from the top menu.
  • Click on the “Groups” link.
  • A list of groups to which you belong will appear.
  • Click on the “Leave Group” or “Group Full” button next to the group which you would like to leave.


How many groups can I participate in?

  • Due to the limited number of group spots available, we ask you to participate in ONLY ONE group during any given session.

All the groups in my time zone are full. Now what do I do?

  • Consider joining a group from a different time zone. Because a group’s accountability, encouragement, and support take place all throughout the day, you’ll find that time zone is not a major factor in your HelloMornings experience.

How do I know if I successfully joined a group?

  • When you join a group, you will receive a welcome email with a greeting and more information from your Group Leader.
  • You may also click on the “My Profile” tab from the top menu and click the “Groups” link to see the groups in which you are currently participating.

How do I find my group’s Facebook page/Twitter hashtag/Instagram hashtag?

  • This information is included in the welcome email that you received when you joined a group.


I did not receive my group’s welcome email. Now what do I do?

  • Please first check the following folders for the welcome email:
    • Spam or Junk Mail
    • Social or Promotion (for Gmail)
    • Trash (it has been known to end up here even without it being deleted)
  • Be sure to add challenge@hellomornings.org to your Contacts folder or Address Book to keep email communications from the Challenge from going to your spam folder.
  • Post a note on your group’s page on the Challenge site to let your Group Leader know. She will then work to get the information to you. Alternatively, you can send a private message to your Group Leader.

HelloMornings Workbook

How do I get the free Workbook?

  • In order to receive the free Workbook, you must register on the HelloMornings Challenge site. (Click here to learn how register.)
  • The link to the Workbook will be included on the activation page and in the welcome email you receive when you successfully join a group.
  • If you don’t see a welcome email with the download, please follow these instructions.


How do I download the Workbook?

  • Click on the link to the Workbook on the activation page or within your welcome email.
  • Please note that you must be logged in to the HelloMornings Challenge Site in order for the link to work. If the link takes you to the “Create an Account” page, then go to the top right corner and log in with your username and password. Then try the link again!
  • BE SURE TO SAVE THE STUDY to your local computer/device – it will only be available for a limited time.

How do I change my username?

  • Unfortunately, usernames cannot be changed. If it is of vital importance that you have a different username, you will have to delete your account and then re-join the site with your new username.


How do I change my email address?

  • Click on the “My Profile” tab from the top menu.
  • Click on the “Settings” link.
  • Enter your new email address under the section titled “Account Email”.
  • Click the “Save Changes” button.


How do I change my profile settings?

  • Click on the “My Profile” tab from the top menu.
  • Click on the “Profile” link.
  • Click on the “Edit” link that appears in the light-grey bar.
  • From the “Base” tab, you can edit your First and Last Name, your Country, Time Zone, and “About Me” information.
  • Be sure to click on the “Save Changes” button to update your profile.
  • To edit your social profile settings, click on the “Social” tab.  From here, you can edit the URLs for your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, GooglePlus, Pinterest, and Website information.
  • Be sure to click on the “Save Changes” button to update your profile.


How do I change my password?

  • Click on the “My Profile” tab from the top menu.
  • Click on the “Settings” link.
  • Enter your new password under the section titled “Change Password”.
  • Click the “Save Changes” button.


How do I upload/change my avatar (profile picture)?

  • Click on the “My Profile” tab from the top menu.
  • Click on the “Profile” link
  • Click on the “Change Avatar” link that appears in the light-grey bar.
  • Click on the “Choose File” button to navigate to the JPG, GIF or PNG formatted photo from your computer.
  • Click “Upload Image” to upload the image to the site.


How do I change the email notifications I receive?

  • Click on the “My Profile” tab from the top menu.
  • Select the “Settings” option.
  • Click on the “Email” option.
  • Make your desired changes.
  • Save your settings.

Social Profiles

How do I link my HelloMornings profile with other social media networks?

  • View your HelloMornings profile by clicking on your name located in the top-right corner of your screen followed by the “PROFILE” option.
  • Click the “EDIT” option.
  • Click on the “SOCIAL” button.
  • Add your social media names. Do not include the URL from your other profiles. For example:
    • Facebook: HelloMornings
    • Twitter: @hellomornings
    • Instagram: hellomornings
    • Google+: 01234567890123456789
      • Select the drop down arrow (options menu) located at the top right corner of one of your Google+ posts.
      • Click ”Embed Post.”
      • A window will pop up with a string of URLs. There is a number approximately 20 digits long. This is your Google+ ID number!
    • Pinterest: HelloMornings
    • Website: http://www.hellomornings.org/
  • Save your settings.

How do I send a private message?

  • Click on the “Members” tab and use the “search” box to find the member you are looking for.
  • Click on the link for the member.
  • Click on the “Private Message” button.
  • Type a subject and message. When complete, click on the “Send Message” button near the bottom of the screen.
