“From the beginning God the Father had a plan to bring all people to Himself … A plan that now includes you and me as partakers and ministers of God’s matchless grace.” – Glorious Grace
I love Paul’s example of humility in this week’s reading (Eph. 3:1-13). He says his ministry is a “gift of God’s grace” (v.7), he refers to himself as “the very least of all the saints” (v.8), he isn’t discouraged by his own imprisonment and encourages the Gentiles “not to lose heart,” either (v.13).
I’d say Paul had a seriously healthy view on who God is and who he would have been without Him. Let Paul’s perspective refresh and challenge you as kingdom workers and “partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.” (v.6)
